Take Back Your Hearts, Health and Community
Take Back the Trail's mission is to expose women of color in East Austin to the tools they need to improve their health, allowing them to take back their hearts, health and communities. Our 12-week, evidence based program incorporates physical activity, nutrition education, and facilitated group discussions that focus on how participants can identify barriers and establish and maintain a healthier lifestyle.

"We want to specifically target middle and upper income women who work out and care about their own health and fitness..." Read more at Culturemap.com
It's all about motivation
"It doesn't matter which trail you are on or what gets you going. What is important is that the trail starts in our own homes and that we are all on a journey together."Dr. Givens in Austin Woman Magazine
